Paul Uter

Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, graduating in 2011 and earning his CPA shortly thereafter. As a Senior Manager at Moore Beauston & Woodham, he brings more than 10 years of accounting experience spanning both public and corporate accounting. He specializes in multi-state pass-through income tax compliance and complex tax matters for individuals and businesses, helping clients navigate evolving tax regulations and achieve their financial goals.

Since joining Moore Beauston & Woodham in 2024, Paul has become an active contributor to the firm's commitment to technical excellence and professional development. He serves on the Tax Quality Control Committee, Multi-State Committee, and Recruiting Committee, where he helps support tax quality initiatives, provides insight on multi-state tax matters, and assists in attracting and developing the next generation of accounting professionals.

Paul is a member of both the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SC.CPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Drawing on his diverse background and technical expertise, he works closely with clients to provide practical guidance, responsive service, and tailored solutions that support their long-term success.

Outside of the office, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three children. He is actively involved in Scouting with his two sons and values the opportunity to support their growth and development. A dedicated sports fan, Paul can often be found cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
