Patrick Wilson

Patrick earned both a Master of Accountancy in Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in South Carolina, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). As a Senior Manager in Moore Beauston and Woodham's Charleston office, Patrick brings more than 15 years of public and corporate auditing and accounting experience across a wide range of industries, including technology, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation.

Since joining Moore Beauston & Woodham in 2023, Patrick has become an integral part of the firm's audit and advisory practice. He is heavily involved in the firm's peer review and quality control efforts, helping uphold the high standards of professionalism and technical excellence that clients expect from MBW. Patrick also serves as chair of the firm's Audit Committee and is a member of the Valuation Committee, where he contributes to firmwide initiatives focused on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Beyond his client responsibilities, Patrick is passionate about supporting both the accounting profession and his local community. He serves as a part-time adjunct professor at Trident Technical College, sharing his industry knowledge and real-world experience with the next generation of accounting professionals. He is also a board member of HALOS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and kinship caregivers throughout the Lowcountry.

Patrick is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). His diverse background, technical expertise, and commitment to quality enable him to provide clients with practical guidance and tailored solutions designed to support long-term success.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. When he isn't working with clients, teaching students, or serving the community, he can often be found offshore fishing and enjoying time on the water.
