Jennifer Swisher

A Charleston native with deep roots along the South Carolina coast, Jennifer Swisher serves as Director of Human Resources for Moore Beauston & Woodham. A SHRM-CP certified professional, she brings 13 years of hospitality leadership experience into her HR role, where she focuses on people-centered leadership, employee development, and fostering a service-driven culture. Since joining MBW in 2021, Jennifer has played an integral role in shaping the firm's people strategy, helping drive initiatives that support employee development, leadership growth, and a strong, unified culture across the organization.

Jennifer is passionate about mentorship and career pathing, with a leadership style grounded in intentional guidance and advocacy for individual growth. A strong proponent of MBW's "One Firm" mindset, she works to ensure staff development and organizational growth move forward together. In addition to leading the firm's human resources initiatives, Jennifer leads both the Fun Committee and Formal Training Committee, helping cultivate an engaging workplace culture while supporting ongoing professional development opportunities for staff. She also serves on the Recruiting Committee, contributing to the firm's efforts to attract and develop the next generation of accounting professionals.

Outside of work, Jennifer lives in the Wilmington, NC area and enjoys exploring coastal cuisine, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her husband and their two dogs.
