James Everett

James C. Everett III serves as Director of Information Technology at Moore Beauston & Woodham, bringing 25 years of experience in programming, networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT management. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems from Strayer University and holds both the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designations through ISACA, reflecting his expertise in technology governance, risk management, and information security.

A member of the MBW team for more than 20 years, James has played an integral role in the firm's technological growth and evolution. As Director of Information Technology, he is responsible for helping ensure the firm's technology infrastructure remains secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. He works closely with firm leadership and employees to support day-to-day technology operations while evaluating emerging technologies that enhance productivity, strengthen security, and improve the client and employee experience.

In addition to leading MBW's technology initiatives, James serves on the firm's Artificial Intelligence Committee, where he helps evaluate emerging AI tools and their potential applications within the organization. His focus on innovation, security, and responsible technology adoption helps position the firm to meet evolving business needs while maintaining strong governance and operational standards.

Outside of work, James enjoys reading and spending time in the garden. He has been married to his wife, Amy, for 33 years and is the proud parent of a soon-to-be college graduate.
