Ronald Moore
(1955-2007)

A founding partner, Ronald Moore was a crucial part of our firm’s growth and success.  In 2007, after a long battle with brain cancer, Ron passed away.  But, through our name and the values he helped instill, his legacy will carry on.

Ron graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1979, with a business administration/accounting degree, and he was a Certified Public Accountant since 1986.  After co-founding the company in 1992, Ron served as managing partner until 1999, and until his illness, he was the partner in charge of the Columbia office.

Ron worked with “Fortune 500” companies and was very involved in national and state accounting organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

He was not only a trusted advisor to his accounting clients, but he was also a significant contributor to his community.  Ron was a former treasurer of Platt Springs United Methodist Church, and a co-chair of the Citizens for Lexington District II Schools.  A founding member and permanent treasurer of the Brookland Cayce High School Education Foundation, Ron was also a board member of the BC Athletic Booster Club, PTA president and board member at Claude A. Taylor Elementary School and served as co-president of Busbee Middle School PTA. He was also a patron sponsor for Bailey Fine Arts Performance Arts School and Dance Theater of Columbia.  In 2003, Ron was appointed to the Board of Directors for Lexington Medical Center, where he served for many years.
