Will Woodham, a partner in the firm and the partner in charge of the Hartsville office, passed away in June, 2011.
Will was accepted as a Partner in the firm in 2003. He had more than 20 years experience in public accounting. Prior to joining Moore Beauston Woodham, he had been employed with a "Big Six" accounting firm where he provided services in auditing, tax, and management consulting to clients in various industries. From 1989 through 1994, he partnered with Harry L. Parker, CPA in the public accounting firm of Parker and Woodham, CPAs PA. Parker and Woodham, CPAs merged with the firm that is now Moore Beauston Woodham L.L.P. in 1995.
Will was a Cum Laude graduate of Wofford College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He was a participating member of the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce as Treasurer. Will has served as past president of the Hartsville Civitan Club and served as their Secretary/Treasurer. He served as Finance Committee Chairman of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Robert E. Lee Academy. Will was honored as Hartsville's Business Person of the Year and Hartsville Civitan of the Year for 2010.
